EP107
Tuesday, May 27th, 2008Went to the Folklife Festival on Sunday. Jason, Rachel and I had a caricature made of us. The video came out a little overexposed but it’s still ok.
Nicholas, Jason and I went to the Seattle Cheese Festival and made this video for the International Photograph Your Day Day. Some German’s got a picture with Jason wearing his camera rig attached to a helmet and there is a possibility that we also got some blogger publicity. I’d recommend watching this on Vimeo because the picture will be larger and evermore nausea-inducing.
Well, sorry about the extreme lateness. I’ve been busy with school. Anyway, this day of silence was an extreme success. The only thing I ended up saying all day (in the last class of the day) was like this:
Tim: Wait, so an incubus is like a demon who practices necrophilia?
Me: It’s not necrophilia if she’s only sleeping.
So, below you can see all the things I wrote during the day on my notepad, try to figgure out the other half of the conversation.

Guess who Jason and I saw yesterday? Scott Sigler! He was down at Barns n’ Nobel for a book signing that we went to. If your wondering, the triangle is a plot element in his new book, Infected.

Went to my mom’s Purim party with Nicholas and Jason. We did some filming of various types. Click the images to see the animations. Jason and I attach a camera to a flagpole to see things from a different perspective. A few people walked by and there was someone yelling “crack dealer” out their car window but I don’t think it was at us.
Jason’s party was fun, we ended up watching The Holy Grail, Andromeda Strain, half of the first episode of Farscape, the end of Ghost Rider and some of my DiveFilm HD podcasts (looked shiny on the HDTV I had my laptop hooked to). I’m currently doing preplaning for a possible photography project next year involving a weather balloon. Here’s an example.
Happy π day everyone! Sorry I haven’t been updating regularly, I’ve had a busy week. There’s the WASL, late homework and a DNA model I built with Nick. In other news, I added my uncles blog, Daily Guitar Repair to my blogroll and I started probing the human subconscious using this handy global random events monitor. I’m also going to Jasons birthday party, I’m sure there’ll be some kind of blogging involved.
