Is it finally happening? Will a new disease emerge and kill all of the worlds cloned banana supply? Something has cropped up and it’s not good for the future supply.
So, it looks like Bush signed H.R. 493 today. It’s the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) and it makes it illegal to discriminate against people based on their genetic code. So, to celebrate I watched GATTACA. Crazy future that is, everything’s so empty and clean. And who would really expect an astronaut to go to Titan without even being in space before?
Today we morn the passing of one of the greatest minds of SF literature to date. Hopefully he’s still alive in some universe, some state of superposition or in somewhen.
